Welcome
The Kankakee River Running Club was established in 1979. We hope you find this site useful, and please let us know what you would like to see. This site was designed for KANKAKEE AREA RUNNERS and members of the KANKAKEE RIVER RUNNING CLUB.  
We post the results of all Kankakee area races, so check the results link to see how you did. Check events for the local races, and hit the links section for other great informational sites. ENJOY!

Kankakee River Chili Recipe

KRRC members of all abilities meet at the Kankakee River State Park (parking lot across from heated rest rooms) at 8:00 am from May / September and 9:00 am from October / April to run and socialize on off-race Sundays. Individuals may vary the starting time based on the distance they intend to run and their personal obligations. Bring a running buddy and join us! Some members bring their bikes for a little cross-training after the run.
